Do you fear that you will never find love?

You can’t imagine the amount of times that I’ve heard people say, “I feel like I’m never going to meet someone” or “I feel like love is for everybody else except for me.” And it isn’t just women, men can feel the same exact way.

From having met so many people one of the life lessons that I’ve learned is that just as in the movie, love is all around. But a lot of people don’t realize this because their minds create stories that tell them otherwise. Instead of focusing on all their positives and being proactive in increasing the chances of meeting somebody, people tend to self-sabotage themselves.  They do things like focusing on their age, weight and even coming up with ideas explaining why it will never happen. Some don’t even go out or are open to online dating because they have preconceived ideas of how they should meet somebody.  Sometimes they even think such things as, “I’m not going to go out tonight. I’m not going to meet anybody anyway.” This kind of behavior decreases the chances of meeting that special someone.

You are much better off being positive and optimistic. Sometimes you need to have a little faith. Have that faith that it’s going to happen. Have the attitude that it’s inevitable. It’s just a matter of time. In the meantime, feel comfortable being single.  Focus on your happiness, because there is nothing more attractive than a confident and happy person.
