Did you know that the average diet lasts somewhere between 15 and 19 days. Why? Because your average person is trying to make changes from will power. Will power is just a short burst of mental energy. It only lasts for so long and once it’s gone, it’s gone… That is until the next time you make the conscious decision to get on track and lose weight. That usually ends up being the beginning of another cycle of failure. Why? Because you are trying to create longstanding change from the wrong place.
Your subconscious mind is the part of the mind that you need to get on board because it’s the part of the mind that is really running the show. It’s where all of your habits, patterns and core emotions reside. Your conscious mind can be thinking the most rational and logical thoughts, such as, I need to eat healthy foods and lay off of junk food but if your subconscious mind is for example thinking, high-calorie foods = comfort, then guess what, your mind is going to ultimately go to that the next time you’re stressed out. That only leads to you feeling feelings of guilt, shame and remorse. The good thing is that there is a way that you can end this cycle.
I’m in the process of creating a complete coaching and hypnosis weight loss membership program that will help you make healthy food choices, eat the right portions, say no to junk food including sweets and exercise. This is just a small sample of the different topics that I’m working on. I’ve helped many of my clients lose weight so I already know all of the different issues that come with weight loss.
