In this Hypnosis Mental Training TED video, How to practice effectively…for just about anything by Annie Bosler and Don Greene, they explain what we need to do to perfect our ability to make something/train new behavior.

The great animations created by Martina Meštrović show how practice is a repetition that will allow us to reach an improvement and it actually helps us to get better in our discipline or behaviour. The part that is specially interesting starts at 2:34. When they give the example of the basketball players who “Mentally trained” as compared to the guys who physically practiced, they are referring to hypnosis. It’s actually a very famous study.
