Reactions of Child Abuse Survivors to the “Leaving Neverland” Documentary

In the last week and a half I had a lot of people coming in and telling me that their emotions were triggered by the new Michael Jackson documentary. And what all of them had in common is that all of them had been victims of sexual child abuse.

For us who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse is very important that:

1) To set boundaries. Boundaries to the things that we see and hear about.

2) To remember that you a no longer a kid. You are now an adult, an empowered person and you are safe now.

Take these two things into account and bring yourself back to where you want to be, with you being in your own power.

I hope this message helps.

Have a great day and I look forward to chatting with you again soon.
