Sugar Addiction CravingsTake control of your sugar intake so that you are no longer at its mercy
Feel good. Feel in control
Because what you eat does matter
For most people, sugar addiction goes back to their childhood, when they learned to find comfort in the things that they ate. At that time, the mind started associating feeling better with eating certain foods. That’s because eating sugary foods causes you to be awash in neurotransmitters that make you feel calm, relieved, and rewarded. This is what drives people to eat when they are upset or stressed and have no other coping mechanism. The mind tries to relieve stress by ensuring that the brain’s “feel good” chemicals are released.
If you are experiencing sugar addiction, you know that it can be very hard to stop. The more sugar-laden substances you eat or drink, the more neurotransmitters are released, which ultimately causes a deficiency that is only satiated when you eat more sugar, just so that you can just feel normal again. That is why it is said that sugar is addictive. During our hypnosis sessions, we will be programming your mind to see sugary foods and drinks in a completely different way, so that you are able to take a different set of actions that are in line with your goals.
“Sasha — I am so amazed at the ways in which the healthy suggestions from my hypnosis tapes are finding their way into my everyday life. The other day, out of habit, I grabbed some hard candy from a bowl at a store. I have always had an automatic attraction to sugar. But, this time, I heard your voice in my head telling me that I find sugar sickly sweet and preferred fresher, healthy fare. Guess what? The candy is still in the bottom of my purse—I have no desire for it! Amazing.”
