Here we are, my family and me standing for progress of all human kind. We recently marched at the San Francisco Pride parade. That weekend was the weekend before my sister’s birthday and since it by chance coincided with my sister being a part of the parade as a member of the District Attorney’s office, we decided to join her.
As you can see from my the picture above, my little 17 month old son was there. He loved waiving his little flag and seeing everybody smiling. Some people might not approve of me taking Kai but I did it because I believe in the equality of all human beings and I believe that all people have the right to love whoever they want. It matters to me that Kai knows that his mother stands for progress of all human kind, not just one kind.
The San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Celebration, usually known as San Francisco Pride, is a parade and festival held at the end of June each year in San Francisco, California, to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people and their allies.
