What is your definition of success?. Hey guys! it’s Sasha, good morning!. I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday, a nice and relaxing Sunday.

Me, I’m actually on my way to the zoo and I’m really excited because this is gonna be the first time that would take Kai to the zoo and I’m sure he’s gonna have a ton of fun, you know, there are plenty of things that I have to do, but I made sure to make the time to take Kai to the zoo today, because one of the things that I always say is that I can’t be helping so many other people and not come through for my own son, and believe it or not that’s the kind of stuff that ends up happening to a lot of people who work in the self-help world, or a lot of people who help other people, they’re so focused on other people that they forget about themselves and they actually forget about their own families.

In fact, the other day I went to a conference, about two or three weeks ago and there was this very famous guy on stage, and he was saying how he barely sees his kids, and he is ok with that!, and I remember that when he was explaining this to the crowd, everybody just got quiet and I know why, because everybody must have been like, what?? something’s off about that, how can you be telling people how they should live and do things if you’re not even coming through for your own children. Does that make any sense?.

So, that led me to my next question to you, which is what is your measure of success? Now for most people, when you ask them that, they’ll probably say something, although probably first think, money, having a lot of money is a measure of success.

Now for me, my measure of success is, success is when you have success and not just your professional life, because that’s just one aspect of who we are, but also our personal lives, and so it’s very easy to get caught up with work with all the things that we have to do, but we have to make sure to spend time with the ones that we love, and our children, and our friends and families and come through for them and for ourselves as well. Otherwise then, you know what’s the point of it all.

I hope you guys are having a wonderful day and I hope that this is good food for thoughts. This is a very common topic that I talked to people about, because there’s so many times when people come in and they tell me that they’ve had these great careers and for the longest time they’ve done really well and all of a sudden the career is gone and then they’re just like, what now? because they didn’t build relationships with the people that mean the most and now a lot of times they don’t really have those people in their lives anymore.

So, just some food for thought. Well, I hope you’re having a great day and I will chat with you again soon. For more information about how to achieve success visit my website.
